Venue & Place Coordinator
We're seeking a Venue & Place Coordinator to join our tiny but mighty team whilst one of us steps out for a short stint.
Overview
Vic Park Community Centre (VPCC) is a 30+ year old not for profit committed to fostering a caring and connected neighbourhood by creating opportunities for people to collaborate, imagine and thrive.
We operate a space for hire and host an eclectic program of regular activity which includes: social support, collective learning, cultural exchange, creative adventure and more.
In 2025 - 2026 we welcomed 460 weekly users, facilitated 1,020 bookings, worked with 100+ partners, hosted 35 programs / 124 one off events and supported 29 regular groups to meet.
We did this with 3 front facing staff, a slim board member structure, some dynamite volunteers and incredible collaborations. Its huge for a teeny tiny, 2-roomed community space and we are super proud of what we have created here.
Soon, our esteemed Facility & Venue Coordinator, Alice will be taking a extended period of leave and we are looking for someone who can 'hold the fort' whilst she is away.
This leave cover will take place from: w/b Monday 28 September to w/b Monday 23 November 2026.
The core of this role encompasses general admin, facility management and the coordination of hire bookings. It is 20 hours a week, 8.00am - 3.00pm across three days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
