We had an absolutely ripper bunch of people come through the Centre on Saturday for the sold out learn to podcast workshop. We had people from the Centre for Stories, Vic Park Urban Foresters, WA Museum and more.

Our facilitator Elsa Silberstein took us on a journey from pre-production all the way through to post. The 4-hour session covered narrative construction, the purpose of podcasts, what gear you need and how to get your podcast heard among all the traffic.

We are looking forward to hearing the outcomes of this session. Coming to your ears soon will be a podcast on bee keeping, urban forestry in Vic Park, morning rituals, women and trans women’s stories, a personal journey through weight loss, criminal minds, the gifts of kids with autism and parenting in the modern age (if everyone can get turn their dream into a reality). The group have decided to meet up again and discuss their progress in the coming months so watch this space.

Also, drop a comment or shoot us an email if you missed out on tickets because we think this workshop could be worth running again!
